We know you’ve been good this year
but we hear that even Santa and Father Frost are facing some supply and demand challenges. So we made a list of (local) gift ideas, provided by our lovely vendors, partners and friends. Since December is often the craziest month for them, there’s a chance they forgot to inform us about their special offers, so we added the link to the last year’s list for some inspiration.
What have they prepared?
Mojca from Gostilna Mihovec informed us she is already baking their famous homemade potica and that the gift certificates are also available this year.
Petra from Zgodbe iz gline is kindly inviting you to join her at her future workshops.
Chef Janez Bratovž and his team from JB restaurant have yet again prepared a series of delights. You can choose from a variety of tastes, such as baked pear, cream cheese with eggplant, plum jam, dulce de leche, duck pate and more.
Nika from Veganika said she would gladly put on a bow and hide under your Christmas tree ... But since she is busy with all the pie making, it might be better to purchase a gift certificate for one of her vegan delights workshops.
The Dvor Jezeršek's team prepared a bunch of lovely culinary surprises for you. From potica to their amazing tartar, workshops, dinners and special packages - take your pick.
The Beer & Burger Fest is represented on this year’s gift list by the wonderful guys from Clef brewery that invite you, your coworkers and business partners to a boutique team building and/or guided visit of their brewery. They even prepared a special degustation and beer gift packets.
Hana from Abi Falafel wrote to us as well. They unfortunatelly had to cancel their traditional December get-together with belly dancing, but are offering their gift certificates and lovely gifts (halva, sirups, sweets, spices, teas).
Izidor from Landerik invites you to try their best menu yet - treat yourself and your loved ones to some šmorn and other goodies by purchasing their gift certificate.
The Bistro Grad Štanjel team is glad to deliver to you their home-made and local meat and cheese products that go extraordinarely well with their wine.
The team from Moji štruklji Slovenije joined their forces with the Podjed Dairy and prepared some lovely packages to guide you into 2022. Are their famous štruklji (rolled dumplings) included? Of course, they are.
Last but not least, Lea, the sweet soul of Stories by Lea prepared a booklet with 10 new Christmas recipes that would work well under any tree.
We would yet again like to encourage you to support your favourite vendors and restaurants. Pay them a visit or even call them to let them know you are thinking of them and can hardly wait to see them again, maybe even in the next season of the Open kitchen.
