There will be happiness!

Is happiness a consequence of one’s effort or more of manna descending slowly to our souls like snow on the plains? It’s fickle, this happiness. Calling our name and throwing pebbles at our windows or hiding like a hedgehog curled in a ball, you never know whether to wait for it or go out looking. Will there be happiness in the year approaching?

There will. 2023 might not be as different as you imagined, but it will surely be a happy one. We will find it ourselves and take it for a walk with our cheeks rosy from laughter. We will fill our year with those little moments of happiness that are just our own and with those that we share, such as warm hugs and plates filled with delights on those sunny Fridays at Pogačarjev trg. We will put those moments in a stack, a heap, a pile, a mountain from which we will look upon our bright future.

So let yourselves be covered with the confetti of happiness. Let your days be filled with laughs and gentleness. May you never run out of good ideas and even better meals shared with friends.
