The Open kitchen Season 11 release date

The first episode of the Open kitchen’s 11th season will be released on Friday, March 17 2023, at Pogačarjev trg, Slovenia’s most popular culinary event channel!

That’s right, in less than 2 months, the culinary market that has captured the hearts of foodies from near and far for the past 10 years, is coming back. The creators of the Open kitchen are promising an 11th season filled with yummy scenes, aromatic stories and colourful shots of happy crowds and vivid locations. The new season will follow an established recipe for unforgettable culinary get-togethers, traditionally spiced up with some novelties. The main roles in 2023 will as ever be played by the quality, originality and innovation of Slovenia’s restaurants, however the cast will be joined by some new characters and yet unseen settings.

Well, we sure indulged in some sensationalism in announcing the new season this year, but we hope you wont hold it against us … :) While on our winter break, the team of the Open kitchen, comprised of serious series geeks, (re)watched a lot of popular shows and realised we’ve been around longer than many of them. We’ve surpassed numerous legends of various genres, such as the Gilmore Girls, Melrose Place, Full House, House, ‘Allo ‘Allo!, How I Met Your Mother, CSI Miami and Beverly Hills a while ago, and even “beat” the timeless Friends, The Office and Seinfeld in the number of seasons. Now, we’re stepping into the realm of titans such as Cheers, Happy Days, M*A*S*H* and The X FIles, but were aiming for the real stars - to become as eternal as the Simpsons!

But let’s put the TV and streaming references aside for just a moment. We’re wholeheartedly looking forward to the new season and everything it brings. Familiar faces, new friends and - last but not least - hours and hours of yummy fun, awaiting us in the 11th season. Stay tuned, we’ll be back soon with more news on yours truly - the Open kitchen.
