Are you warmed up for Brina?

We’ll spend the first Open kitchen of June savouring a variety of goodies by almost 50 vendors of food and drinks, bathing in the sunshine and making plans for Saturday, when we’ll move the lively atmosphere to the charming ambience of the Križanke Theatre. If you pay close attention, you might already catch a glimpse of Brina at Friday’s Open kitchen – the most considerable probability of spotting her over the edge of a cocktail glass will occur in the vicinity of the Brina Mixology stand.

But you’ll be sure not to miss her if your way takes you to Križanke on Saturday. Brina is ready to shine in the livelier colours of her new feathers and is waiting for you to join her …

On Saturday, June 3, Brina will dance her way back into the capital all dolled up and more extravagant than ever – as the festival of cocktails and mixology. Partnered up with Ljubljana Tourism / Gourmet Ljubljana, she’ll host the best masters of mixology from 5 PM till the stroke of midnight. All the stalls will complement their wide offer of amazing cocktails with their own signature interpretation of the Brina cocktail, based on strawberry-tarragon syrup. 

We’ll learn about sustainable mixology at a workshop hosted by cocktail expert Dominik Gobec at 6 PM, enjoy upbeat music, provided by the Pantaloons, DJ Bayo and DJ Udo Brenner, and refuel with some fine bites. We’ll be one of the first people to try New Mexico Style tacos that will soon be on offer at a new taqueria in town.

The entrance, as well as the attendance at the workshop, are free of charge.
