The 11th Open kitchen of the 11th season

June in Ljubljana is always magical. The days are long and warm, yet not too hot for endless al fresco indulgence. The city green is lush from the afternoon shower refreshments and the late Spring breeze playfully caresses the myriad of brightly coloured leaves. It’s almost summer and we’re determined to savour every second of our outdoor delights!

This Friday, we celebrate the ever-longer June days with extended working hours – for the first time this year (and throughout the summer) we’ll be at Pogačarjev trg from 10 AM to 10 PM! 

Thus, the 11th Open kitchen of the season will grant us one more hour to try everything we haven’t managed in the first 10. It might be Hiša Jerin’s crunchy pogača, Namaste’s soul-warming romali roti, a refined cocktail by Brina to reminisce about the past Saturday we so delightfully spent in Križanke, a variety of strudel flavours at Sladki Pisker or something completely different – the choice will be yours and wildly abundant once again, as Pogačarjev trg will be filled with as many as 45 stands!

We’ll dress up in our favourite summer clothing, but might pack a foldable umbrella just in case, as the past few weeks have taught us that late Spring tends to bring a short rain package now and then … But who cares, it’s June and we will enjoy it!
