On a rainy day

The Open kitchen is cancelled this Friday due to heavy rain.

With no dreams, our lives are in vain, sang the 1xBand when Slovenia first entered the Eurovision contest in 1993. Twenty years after, we are frowning at the moody sky, dreaming of those carefree summer days without tornados and hail-punched tomatoes in our garden. Those were the days! Can we get them back? Maybe, if we all do everything in our power to enable their return. If we relentlessly clap back at the contentious decisions of big corporations, rage whenever they start cutting down trees and ward off the indifference steering us to the point of no return.

Let’s spend this quiet rainy Friday contemplating dreams and change while eating some leftovers from the fridge. See you next week.
