One last time on Stritarjeva

After this hot Friday, we will return to Pogačarjev trg.

The heat has settled over the city, slightly slowing the usual pace. Those of us not scattered at various vacation sites (and those who have chosen to visit Ljubljana) are spending the days in the city, seeking shade, proximity to water, and air-conditioned spaces.

Despite the heat, we will meet again this Friday on Stritarjeva and Mestni trg, equipped with summer hats, parasols, and sunscreen, enjoying a variety of delicious dishes and refreshing drinks, accompanied by plenty of water from the nearby drinking fountain.

It has been a pleasure spending our Fridays at Stritarjeva, dining with a view of the castle, the town hall, and the Robba fountain. But with the footballers finishing their footballing, we will return home to Pogačarjev trg next Friday, where the trees rustle above the steps, a breeze blows through the passage by the cathedral, and where all of us happy eaters are eager to unite.
