Season finale #12

Unlike the popular streaming providers, we’re not ending the 12th season of our wonderful culinary gatherings with a suspenseful cliffhanger. And we certainly won’t leave you waiting for years in anticipation of the next one …

We officially concluded the 12th season of Open Kitchen this past weekend, and it’s time for us to proudly and gratefully salute all of you, dear visitors, for bringing us meaning, year after year.

With 26 gatherings in Ljubljana, 10 trips to other cities, hundreds of culinary delights tested, countless refreshing sips, and an innumerable array of incredibly happy moments, we can peacefully close this chapter and start opening the next.

So very grateful

This past season, we were accompanied by over 60 wonderful vendors at Open Kitchen, each of them exceptional – oh, just what would we do without them? No little thing would run smoothly without our outstanding office team and all the fantastic guys and girls ensuring everything at Pogačar Square and beyond flows like clockwork.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to the Municipality of Ljubljana for their hospitality, and to the teams from JP LPT and VOKA Snaga, who helped make our experience truly special.

Thanks to everyone helping us with our travels across Slovenia, and especially to our reliable co-organizers: the public institute Javni zavod Ptuj, Municipality of Nova Gorica, public institute SPOTUR, public institute Zavod za turizem TRG Vipava, Municipality of Novo Mesto, and from now on also the Izola Centre for Culture, Sport and Events.

Let us also raise a glass to Tourism Ljubljana and Gourmet Ljubljana, as our joint projects are always a delight to create and carry out!

What will Season 13 bring?

Providing the sun will make haste, we’ll meet at the opening of our lucky 13th on the first day of next spring. Until then, we’ll take some time to rest and think about how we can bring our bold, ambitious ideas to life, making our gatherings even bigger, better, and more delicious.
