On Saturday, March 16, we’re starting our seventh, fairytale season with a special pre-premiere of the Open kitchen at Ljubljana’s Trg francoske revolucije and the lobby of the Križanke theatre.
The special pre-release of the Open kitchen, that otherwise starts at Pogačarjev Square on the first spring Friday, March 22, will be dedicated to Slovenian gastronomy and will present the Slovene culinary and winemaking tradition as well as new, modern approaches of Slovenia’s culinary creators and boutique producers of trendy beer and spirits.
The event will start the European Food Summit that will bring renowned culinary, art and media experts from all over the world to Ljubljana between March 16 and 19. They will inspire us with their stories and encourage us to think and act progressively for a better and sustainable future. Many events will take place in the four days of the summit, including a conference at the Ljubljana castle, a culinary walk around the city and its sights with Ljubljana’s chefs, an experience dinner with Ana Roš, a ski-race at Krvavec and many more.
