An inn, sheltered by the castle’s walls, where it smells like it used to smell from the stoves and fireplaces of our grandmothers. Three great European cultures collide and coexist there – the Alps, Pannonia and the Mediterranean. They swear by fair ingredients, organic and healthy food; they cook simply and not at all pretentiously – in short, just like home. The knowledge and skills to make traditional dishes was passed on to the young chefs from masters, who changed the perception of food in Slovenia with their creativity – the result are high-quality Slovenian dishes, prepared in a modern way.
