Hot in the city!

From the very beginning of this summer, we’ve had some atypically cold and rainy weather, but the meteorologists are promising true summer weather from now on.

The warmer temperatures are simply calling for some fresh, summery goodies our vendors are preparing this week - Kuhinja Krušič will freshen up their offer with Krušič tagliata, Domačija Lisjak is keeping it cool with some rose juice and we have some vendors returning from their summer vacations with recharged batteries - Gostilna Pri Mari with the summer classic - stuffed peppers and the Barbarella team and their super yummy taco bowl.

There’ll be some fresh breeze next to the covered market as well, where the Kamnik tourist office will present one of their gems - the Mali Grad Brewery that recently launched their own line of gin, smartly named Ginious. For all of us who are still waiting for the first dive of the year, the Barba aromatic salt makers are returning to bring some seaside vibes and for those who are leaving for their vacation soon, the Broken Bones stand is a mandatory pit stop before leaving - a bottle of gin can make a great summer getaway even better!

Despite the heat, Friday will be fresh - don’t miss it!

And don’t forget - next Saturday, July 28, we’re taking the food market for a trip outside of Ljubljana’s walls. The Mestni Square in Ptuj will host an Open kitchen in the summery festival vibes of the oldest city in Slovenia.
