Summertime in Ptuj

Odprta kuhna is staying in Ljubljana for most of the summer, with one small exception - we’re jumping to Ptuj for the end of July. Saturday, July 28, will be reserved for enjoying great food and refreshing drinks in the summer festival atmosphere in the oldest Slovenian city.

Last year’s premiere of Odprta kuhna at the Mestni square happened in the last weekend of July, and as we fell in love with the summer vibe of the city, we’re making it a tradition. In collaboration with the Ptuj tourism institute, we’re adding a September culinary adventure to the May and July editions.

We have a couple of debutants at the Mestni square this time - Gin & Tonic by eVino with the classic cocktail in different disguises, Željka from Torterija and her magical desserts and - last but not least - the ever fun and cheeky boys from Experiment; no ART = no FUN with aromatic coffee and refreshing drinks, spiced up by sem herbs and fruits, with a shot of rum for the brave (and the pirates).

We’ll be celebrating summer temperatures, good food, fine drinks and the best company from 10 AM to 9 PM - join us!
