What to do in November?

Eat well, of course!

While we are waiting for the spring and another season of our happy get-togethers at Pogačarjev trg, we keep ourselves busy with a few autumn-winterish projects, some brainstorming for the next year and a lot of good eating. For November, this includes:

- a visit to EFS

Congrats to the European Food Summit’s team for another incredible symposium. We enjoyed the amazing creations of the best chefs and let ourselves feel inspired by all the great guests and speakers. We promise to do our part in providing food for the future good.

- celebration of St. Martin's Day

A nationwide celebration of the incredible Slovenian wine culture? Count us in! Due to the situation, the big celebrations have been cancelled (again), but we plan to have a little fun by ourselves (in a smaller group) anyway. Maybe we will stop by for a glass of wine at Vander, treat ourselves to a feast at Pišek bar or Gostilna Grabar, order a delicious package from Dvor Jezeršek or opt for a celebration with a twist at Kitajski vrt. Or maybe we will check what the other vendors and friends of the Open kitchen are planning for this week.

- a series of November Gourmet Ljubljana activities

We will treat ourselves to the best culinary offer our capital has to offer. Perhaps we will visit a cooking course, try one of the new gin or beer combinations, spoil ourselves with delicious gnocchi, pasta, weekend lunch or a fine dinner. We will check what our friends at Meat Business came up with this time and who will be chef Jorg Zupan’s guest at the Atelje Residence. We will also discover the wonders of Microworld: a great event (we helped organize), dedicated to the incredible powers of microorganisms, presented by Luka Košir (Grič), Irena Orešnik (Sirarstvo Orešnik), Svarun Leskovšek (Kletvica) and Miha Tome (Barut Brewing and Blending).

And what will you be doing in November?
