The weather-related inconveniences
The Open kitchen is cancelled again.
It would probably surprise you how much time and effort our team dedicates to discussions about the weather. We spend days pondering, mulling, weighing our options and diligently following all kinds of predictions and outlooks. A constant balancing act of considering the aspects and consequences of our decision, looking at our half-full/half-empty glasses and pouting at the sky.
It is unfortunate, but we have to cancel this Friday's Open kitchen. Again. The moody clouds are gathering swiftly from the west (only meteorologically, not metaphorically, luckily) and although they might hold back until the evening, we cannot risk our lovely vendors and visitors getting chilled by the rain and wind. The spring is too lovely to spend it dealing with sore throats and runny noses.
So we will spend our Friday cooking at home, pouring ourselves some wine and thoroughly examining our negotiation techniques for future weather conciliations.
See you soon!
