Goodbye, Pogačarjev Trg?

Not just yet!

This spring, we’re returning to where it all began thirteen years ago – Pogačarjev Trg! That’s right, the 13th season of Odprta kuhna is upon us, but we won’t let superstition get in our way. Quite the opposite – we’re determined to make this a season of extraordinary moments, where we’ll create new unforgettable memories over exquisite dishes, top-notch drinks, and relaxed gatherings.

We’ve already won our first victory over the "unlucky" number 13  with an opening date – March 21st,  the first day of spring! This symbolic beginning brings fresh energy, exciting flavors, and the joy of long, sun-drenched Fridays spent in the best company. We can’t wait to raise a glass to the new season, to spring, and to all of you who have been shaping the unique atmosphere of Odprta kuhna with so much love and support for the past thirteen years.

This year, you’ll be spoiled by both new vendors and your longtime favorites. A wonderful mix of aromas will fill Pogačarjev Trg every sunny Friday, drawing you in for the most delicious way to wrap up the workweek.

And now, the answer to the question that’s been on everyone’s mind for the past few months: for now, we’re staying at Pogačarjev Trg! We’ll be there as long as circumstances allow, and once renovations begin, we’ll work closely with the City of Ljubljana to find a new, even better location – away from noise, dust, and construction. Of course, we’ll keep you updated on any changes.

Until then, the plan remains the same: on the first day of spring, we meet again at Pogačarjev Trg. Don’t miss it – it’s been far too long! ❤️
