A Great Day for Ptuj. An Even Better One for Open Kitchen.

Open Kitchen is returning to Ptuj on Saturday, 18 July.

It’s hard to imagine summer in Ptuj without Open Kitchen. Since 2017, we’ve been delighted to return to Slovenia’s oldest town, where together with our visitors we create a day filled with great food, relaxed socialising and the unmistakable atmosphere of summer.

This year will be no exception. On Saturday, 18 July, Mestni trg will once again become a hub of culinary delights from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., as our vendors serve up a diverse selection of dishes from near and far. It will be the perfect opportunity to discover new flavours, revisit favourite classics and enjoy a glass of wine, a cold beer, a cocktail or another refreshing summer drink.

With the Arsana Festival also taking place in Ptuj, the town will be buzzing with energy throughout the day. Great music, lively streets and excellent food are a combination that’s hard to beat.

We’re looking forward to working once again with the wonderful team at Ptuj Tourism Institute, and above all to seeing all of you, who year after year remind us just how special summer days in Ptuj can be.
