Season 14 is in the books (and hearts)!

We simply couldn’t have imagined a better 14th season of Open kitchen!
Our hearts (and bellies) are full after all these wonderful events.

Thank you for every sincere smile, every relaxed chat, and every moment you spent with us at Pogačarjev Trg and in all the other cities across Slovenia. This year, you were truly exceptionally hungry (and thirsty :P) - and that’s exactly how we like you best!

Every Friday’s Open kitchen was a story of its own. They were all similar in that indescribable, wonderful energy, yet each one was completely different.
It’s true, when organizing events, there’s always some small, unpredictable hiccups. But there were so many more of those exceptional moments, filled with sunshine and laughter! We’ll cherish them deep in our hearts, where they’ll remain forever. We hope we’ve helped you create some beautiful memories as well - enjoying good food in the company of those you love most.

Of course, the magic of Fridays at Pogačarjev Trg and our events in other cities don’t just happen on their own. It takes a huge group of kind-hearted people to make this culinary fairy tale come to life in the heart of the city week after week.

That’s why we’d like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has helped us make our dreams come true and organize each event. Thank you to the City of Ljubljana, the public utility LPT, our partners, Coca-Cola (Romerquelle and Three Cents), the Laško Union Brewery, the public utility Voka Snaga, and every single person who helped in any way and made it possible for us to create such beautiful stories together. Without you, our market wouldn’t have such a soul!


What’s next? Are you going to take a break?

Oh no, no… We may have packed up the stalls, but that doesn’t mean we’re going into hibernation now!

The team is already busy cooking up new ideas, and very soon we’ll start announcing the new events and surprises we’re preparing for you.
