100th Open Kitchen!

Dear friends, on Friday, July 8, we’re celebrating the 100th Open kitchen. From spring 2013 until today our culinary market was hosted in many cities across Slovenia and we’ll celebrate the big anniversary at the Pogačarjev trg Square in Ljubljana, where it all began. In almost four seasons over a hundred restaurants were presented close to a thousand different dishes and drinks were prepared.

In 2014 the Open kitchen food market was awarded two prestigious awards: jakob for quality and excellence, and sejalec for the most innovative Slovenian tourist project. We’re proud partners of the Ljubljana - European Green Capital 2016 project and happy to be included in the Zavod Pod strehco network, that helps us donate leftover food to those in need.
