We've received the sejalec 2014 award

At the Days of Slovenian Tourism in Portorož we received the sejalec 2014 award for the most innovative Slovenian tourist product in the last two years.

The expert jury chose us among 26 contestants and explained their decision like this:

"The Odprta kuhna project, that got the sejalec award, transformed Pogačarjev trg in the middle of Ljubljana into a popular place for Friday get-togethers. This has become the time when locals and tourists mingle among the numerous stands with quality offer of dishes from Slovenia's gastronimic regions together with international culinary specialties. Odprta kuhna has exceeded all expactations as a tourist product in a bit more than a year and put Ljubljana and with it Slovenia on the tourist map of the world."
