First autumnal Open kitchen

The autumn is in town and with it, great ingredients and some changes and news

The Open kitchen is switching to autumnal opening hours this Friday, so the stands of our popular culinary market will be at Pogačarjev Square on Fridays from 10 AM to 9 PM.

Due to lower temperatures, we’ll wear some warmer clothes and it will be even nicer to eat something hot and strong to warm up the body and heart. We’ll stop for a hot and pleasantly spicy curry at Shambala or Roza Slon, fish stew at Tatjana’s or Čad’s pasulj. To prevent fall viruses to harm us, we’ll have a vitamin bomb at Green Republic or awesome veal liver with fresh porcini and chanterelle mushrooms at Gostilna Mihovec. In the spirit of the festival weekend, we’ll try an Octoberfest lager by Pivovarna Mali grad, named Polkamadona.

On Saturday and Sunday, the same venue is hosting the 11th Pivo & Burger Fest, a two-day festival of good vibes, great beer and gourmet burgers.
