This year's newcomers? We don't know where to start...


Stepping into Pogačarjev trg for the first time this season always reminds us of that warm tune from the series Na zdravje – you know: "Where everyone knows your name!"
It's truly priceless to meet smiling acquaintances and our regular vendors again, but this year, get ready for something really special. Our family has grown considerably, with a third of the vendors being completely new this year!

Are you curious about what delicacies they have in store for us? Let us give you a little preview so you know where to start licking your fingers.

• You won't have to walk through the woods to get to Gostilnica Orle anymore, because the team is coming to the center of Ljubljana.
• The Bread and Black bakery has taken sourdough baking to a new level and is now introducing it to us.
• The team from Črna kuhna & Wine paradise Glavinič will bring ingredients from their own farm and local Prlekija producers to Ljubljana.
Ramen by Maru is already well known to the people of Ljubljana, with their ramen bowls.
• Before summer arrives, Gostilnica Gušt will take us to the sea with seafood specialties. 
• Njama is also joining us, bringing desserts that are almost as beautiful as they are delicious.
Meyhane Zahir reveals the secrets of Turkish cuisine, and we will share meze and raki.
• The three friends behind Bagel Embassy are already preparing bagels, which they will offer at Open Kitchen.
Cukrée will also make this season especially sweet and pretty. 
• For more than 20 years, Fogy tartufi has been proving what can be cooked with truffles.
• After a break, the popular Veganika is also returning to Pogačarjev trg with its recognizable delicacies, which are usually served at Gornji trg in Ljubljana.

 


So let us warn you, for those who want to try something new, just one visit to Odprta kuhna will not be enough. Two? Three? Ten? Ah, who's counting?
