Projects like these are helping in positioning Slovenia on the map of popular gastronomic destinations and getting titles such as European Region of Gastronomy in 2021 that we are working on at the moment.

The Open kitchen is a remarkable project as it gives Slovenian cuisine and its chefs the opportunity for creative expression in a more casual atmosphere. Fun, educational and most of all completely different from the everyday Ljubljana bustle!
The Open kitchen enriches the Ljubljana culinary scene and brings together world cuisine and top chefs. I love the fact that I can meet up and chat with my colleagues from the restaurant business every Friday, as I don’t get to see much of them otherwise.
